Working Principle of CFA Pile Driver:
- Positioning: Move the pile driver to the predetermined pile position.
- Drilling: Start the power head to drive the drill rod and drill bit to rotate and drill out the soil. During the drilling process, the mud pump will inject mud into the hole to stabilize the hole wall and carry the drilling debris.
- Lifting: When the drilling reaches the predetermined depth, the drill rod is lifted, and concrete is injected into the hole through the pipe in the center of the drill rod.
- Grouting: While lifting the drill rod, concrete is continuously injected into the hole to form the pile body.
- Rebar cage in place (optional): After the concrete pouring is completed, the prefabricated reinforcement cage is inserted into the pile hole.
The whole process is carried out continuously, called a continuous auger bored pile (CFA).
